PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon-containing conductive polymer material having high electrical conductivity and solubility to solvents, and to provide its manufacturing method and a conductive film. SOLUTION: This silicon-containing conductive polymer material comprises a plurality of straight chain molecules with Si-Si bonds, between the Si bonds of which are crosslinked by a phenylene group. The method for manufacturing the silicon-containing conductive polymer material comprises a step of irradiating light to a solution 11 containing a polysilane compound having a phenyl group as a side chain.
