PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamine derivative having excellent solubility in a solvent and compatibility with a binder resin; and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent sensitivity. SOLUTION: The diamine derivative is represented by formula (1) (wherein, Ar<SP>1</SP>is an arylene group, an alkylene group or the like; Ar<SP>2</SP>and Ar<SP>3</SP>are each an aryl group or the like; R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>12</SP>are each H or the like; R<SP>a</SP>and R<SP>b</SP>are each an alkyl group or an alkenyl group; and m and n are each an integer of 0-3).
