PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect control implement which is hard to inhibit generation of heat and can efficiently volatilize and scatter an insect pest control component in the insect pest control implement using a heat source which generates heat by itself by oxidation. SOLUTION: This insect control implement 1 has an agent holding member 10 and a heat source 11, and the agent holding member 10 is a sheet made of a resin having breathability in the thickness direction and holds an insect pest control component, and the heat source 11 is a bag 31 containing a heating medium 30 which generates heat by itself by oxidation and can heat the agent holding member 10 by the heat of the heat source 11. Accordingly, self-heat generation is hard to inhibit by the agent holding member 10, and the insect pest control component to be released from the side of the heat source 11 which is easy to heat from the heat source 11 and has a high temperature is easy to volatilize and scatter.
