PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell culture capsule conducting cell culture in place of which a single CO<SB>2</SB>incubator is adopted so as to effect space saving and cost reduction, also ensuring the oxygen concentration in the capsule to be always kept at a predetermined level. SOLUTION: The cell culture capsule is such that an airtightly closable lid is fitted on the main capsule body housed with a laboratory dish rack holding a laboratory dish receiver at a predetermined height, wherein the lid is fitted with both ends of a tube with a connector at a midway position so as to enable ventilation with the main capsule body, and a culture liquid for gas equilibrium is sealed up in the lower part of the laboratory dish receiver, and furthermore, when the connector is disconnected, one side of the tube and the other side of the tube are designed to be connectible to a mixed gas supply source and a gas concentration monitor and/or an alarm, respectively.
