PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a manufacturing method of printed matter which has high utilization efficiency of an ink material and, further more, can apply to a flexible base material such as a plastic film, especially a long length flexible base material having higher productivity, and excels in the reproductivity of high definition pattern. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes; a process to form an ink liquid membrane 30 corresponding to an image pattern on the glass base plate 1 fixed on the stage 20, a process of pre-drying of the ink liquid membrane 30 and to press non-image pattern letterpress 23 by a projected pattern onto the pre-dried ink membrane 30 and to carry out transfer elimination of the unnecessary ink membrane 30 corresponding to the non-image pattern onto the projected pattern of the letterpress 23, and a process to transfer the residual ink liquid membrane 30 left over on the glass base plate 1 onto the flexible base material 5 and then to print.
