摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary working device, achieving the supply of compressed air for driving a second tool in the axial direction to the spindle side by simple machining to the spindle or the like without deteriorating the rotation accuracy of the spindle. SOLUTION: This rotary working device includes: a first grinding wheel 5 fixed to the spindle 4 supported by a static pressure air bearing 3; a second grinding wheel 6 mounted on the spindle 4 to move in the axial direction; and a forward and backward driving mechanism 8 for moving the second grinding wheel 6 between the projecting position and the retreating position. The forward and backward driving mechanism 8 includes: a retreat side energizing mechanism 8a for energizing the second grinding wheel 6 to the retreat position side; and a projecting side driving mechanism 8b for moving the same to the projecting position side. The projecting side driving mechanism 8b includes: an air supply port 47a provided on the outer peripheral surface side of the spindle 4; a space Sb, which becomes maximum when the second grinding wheel 6 is put in the projecting position; and an air supply passage communicating the air supply port 47a with the space Sb.
