A switching mode power supply circuit is provided to improve a power conversion efficiency of the power supply circuit by removing an active filter from the power supply circuit. An E-class switching converter includes a switching element(Q1). The switching element is a MOSFET(Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor). A body diode(DD) is parallel-coupled between drain and source of the MOSFET. A primary parallel resonance capacitor(Cr) is parallel-coupled between the drain and source of the MOSFET. The drain of the switching element is connected to a positive terminal of a DC input voltage(Ein) via a choke coil(L10). The source of the switching element is connected to a negative terminal of the DC input voltage. One end of a choke coil(L11) is connected to the drain of the switching element, while a series resonance capacitor(C11) is series-connected to the other end thereof. A load impedance(Z) is inserted between the series resonance capacitor and the negative terminal of the DC input voltage. |
