<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery in which a collector lead is connected with an approximately central part of an electrode and both of a high output and stability are obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery is provided with a cathode containing a strip shaped cathode collector and a cathode active substance layer carried on both sides of the collector, an anode containing a strip shaped anode collector and an anode active substance layer carried on both sides of the collector, a separator arranged between the cathode and the anode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. In an approximately central part in a longitudinal direction of at least either one of the cathode collector and the anode collector, an exposed part not carrying an active layer is formed, and a first heat resisting layer is provided to face at least a part of the collector lead. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
