摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic device which is capable of restraining an electric short circuit from occurring between a back electrode and an interlayer, even when the photovoltaic device is equipped with the conductive interlayer between photoelectric conversion units. <P>SOLUTION: The photovoltaic device 1 is equipped with a substrate 2; substrate-side electrodes 3a and 3b separated by an open groove 3c; the photoelectric conversion units 4 and 6 formed through the intermediary of the conductive interlayer 5; the back electrodes 7a and 7b separated from each other by an open groove 7d; an open groove 20b formed so as to cut off the interlayer 5; an insulating member 8 embedded in the open groove 20b; an open groove 20c cut in a region between the open grooves 20a and 20b; and a connection electrode 9 which is embedded in the open groove 20c so as to come into contact with the exposed surface of the substrate-side electrode 3a, and is electrically connected to the back electrode 7b striding over the insulating member 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
