<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protection device protecting an occupant from an impact that may be received at a far side at the side collision of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The air bag 20 arranged on the occupants P1, P2 is stored in the ceiling 7 of the vehicle 2 in a folded state.
