<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card system which utilizes conventional resources effectively and which is convenient. <P>SOLUTION: A transceiver 3A applies voltage according to a command of an IC card to the human body of a user U, and a transceiver 3B detects a detection command with the voltage and transmits it to the IC card 1 through a card reader CR. The transceiver 3B applies voltage according to a response returned from the IC card 1 through a card reader CR to the human body of the user U, and the transceiver 3B detects the response with the voltage and transmits it to a computer 2.
