<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maneuverable guide wire. <P>SOLUTION: This maneuverable guide wire includes: an elongated tubular member 1 having a distal end and a proximal end; and one core member 2 disposed to be movable in the axial direction within the tubular member 1, wherein a pre-shaped curved part of the core member 2 is rich in flexibility. The tubular member 1 includes a first segment 5 and a second segment 9, wherein the first segment 5 has rigidity causing a straightening of the curved part when the curved part is installed in the first segment 5, and the second segment 9 is flexible so as to be bent when the curved part of the core member 2 is positioned within the second segment 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
