<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and speedily acquire a biological parameter set including at least one appropriate biological parameter. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for determining a biological parameter is provided which comprises a simulation execution section that receives a biological parameter set, simulates heart activity, and acquires action potential information showing the action potential of the heart, a difference calculation section for calculating the difference between the acquired action potential information and experimental action potential information, a permissible parameter set determination section for determining whether the biological parameter set is within a permissible range or not using the difference calculated by the difference calculation section, and a permissible parameter output section for outputting a biological parameter set within the permissible range.
