<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a color filter having no void by using ink jet technology. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of the color filter comprises a process A of providing an accommodation section which has a light translucent bottom face, a bank pattern surrounding the bottom face so that at least a part of the bottom face may serve as a corner part and a protrusion that is located above a part of the bottom face and is prolonged from the corner part to an inner side and a process B of arranging liquid droplets of functional liquid at the accommodation section so that the bottom face is covered with the functional liquid containing a solvent and a color filter material and further the functional liquid comes into contact with the protrusion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
