<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter capable of ensuring aptitude and reliability when used at a step of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device of an in plane switching system without arranging a protective layer consisting of a transparent resin on a colored layer. <P>SOLUTION: When the colored layer 2 constituting a pixel of at least one color is formed, a photosetting color composition based on an organic pigment, the transparent resin, a photo-cross-linker and a thermal cross-linker and a solvent is used. C.I. PigmentRed 254 is used at the least as the organic pigment of a red color composition to be used for forming a colored layer constituting a red pixel. At least one photo-cross-linker having a portion modified by caprolactone is used as the photo-cross-linker of the red color composition and a melamine resin is used as the thermal cross-linker of the red color composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
