<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection characteristic measuring device which measures accurately the gloss of a measuring sample. <P>SOLUTION: A control part makes a light source part to perform light emitting operation (#1), and makes an imaging element to perform imaging operation (#2). Then, the control part detects existence of a peak value in output values of each pixel in the imaging element, and derives a reference position for determining a trimming range (#3). The reference position is set on the position of a pixel outputting the peak value when the peak value exists, or is set on the position of a pixel positioned on the center O of a light receiving surface of the imaging element when the peak value does not exist. A prescribed domain centered at the reference position determined in #3 is determined as a trimming range (#4). Then, the control part calculates the reflection characteristic (glossiness), based on the sum total of the output values of each pixel belonging to the trimming range (#5), and displays the calculated reflection characteristic on a display part (#6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
