PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique providing information for allowing a user to determine the order of priority of a via-point candidate, while taking into account of a required time and setting a more appropriate destination route by selecting the via-point, based on the order of priority determined on the basis of this. SOLUTION: For each input via-point candidate, the difference between required time of a route from the starting point to the destination via one of the respective via-point candidates and required time of a route from the starting point to the destination directly is calculated and a difference list in which the calculated difference is associated with each via-point candidate is displayed on a display means (S904). The user inputs the order of priority of each via-point candidate, on the basis of the difference list displayed on the display means (S905); thus the via-points are selected, in the order, from the via-point candidate, having higher priority order accepted by a priority order reception means so that the destination is reached, before a desired arrival time input by the user (S906-908), and the route to the destination is set (S911).
