PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse generating circuit capable of easily generating a pulse of a high frequency band in simple circuit configuration with low power consumption and further being provided without using expensive semiconductor processes. SOLUTION: A pulse generating circuit is constituted by providing a plurality of inverter circuits 101-109 cascaded over the predetermined number of stages, a plurality of NAND circuits 110-113 connected to an input/output side of one of these inverter circuits 101-109 at an interval of two stages for generating a pulse of a time width corresponding to delay amounts of these inverter circuits 102, 104, 106, 108 of the respective stages to which the NAND circuits are connected, and a NOR circuit 114 for ORing outputs of these NAND circuits 110-113.
