PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an error correction method which can correct a packet communication error capable of reducing the frequency of retransmission. SOLUTION: The error correction method includes the steps of: generating three or more odd-number of correction packets for correcting the error of a data packet to be transmitted; distributing and transmitting the three or more odd number of correction packets together with the data packet; receiving the transmitted data packet and three or more odd-number of correction packets; and performing error correction on the received data packet based on the received three or more odd-number of correction packets.
