PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network scanner apparatus for saving the transmission time and the energy by transmitting image data to a transmission destination requiring the image data and transmitting information for accessing the image data to the other transmission destinations. SOLUTION: The network scanner apparatus receives a plurality of transmission destination addresses (step S1) in order to transmit read image data to an optional apparatus via a network, transmits the read image data themselves to at least one of the received transmission destination addresses (an address of a shared folder) (step S4), and transmits image data information to the other transmission destination addresses (electronic mail addresses) (step S5).
