PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity joint eliminating the need for grease lubrication, having reduced weight and size and less operating noises, and being easy to assemble with less restriction in use. SOLUTION: A plurality of guide grooves 4 are formed in a cylindrical inner face 3 of an outer ring while extending to the axial direction, and a guide groove 16 is provided in a spherical outer face 15 of an inner ring 11 to form a ball track in combination with the outer ring guide grooves 4. In a cage 21 assembled between the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 11, pockets 22 are formed in opposition to the ball track. A ball 31 is incorporated in each ball 22. A protruded portion 26 is provided on the inner periphery at the opening end of each pocket 22 to prevent the come-off of the ball 31, thus allowing easy assembly of the constant velocity joint. The outer ring 1 and the inner ring 11 are synthetic resin moldings to eliminate the need for grease lubrication. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
