PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deck material mounting structure and mounting method wherein mounting accuracy can be sufficiently enhanced and working efficiency can be improved. SOLUTION: A projecting piece part 2B of a deck material 2 is regulated in upward movement by a regulating piece part 15 of a mounting member 10 but not regulated in horizontal movement. After adjusting the position of the deck material 2, an engaging piece part 14 of the following mounting member 10 is thereby engaged with a projecting piece part 2B on the opposite side in this deck material 2 to carry out positioning, and the deck material 2 from the start to the end of laying can be mounted in a predetermined position to improve mounting accuracy. In arranging the deck material 2, since the projecting piece part 2B needs only to be inserted through a clearance between a sleeper 5 and the regulating piece part 15 of the mounting member 10, the deck material 2 can be easily arranged to improve working efficiency without taking time and labor.
