A method for controlling the recording of a disposable optical disc is provided to record temporary video manager information for video data recorded in a data block, thereby enabling a user to search for temporary video manager information recorded before recording failure easily when the recording failure occurs during data recording on the disposable optical disc. Video data related to a tile are recorded on a disposable optical disc corresponding to a recording command(S220). It is determined whether a recording position is a specific position if the video data are recorded(S240). Video title set information and temporary video manager information are created with respect to the recorded data if the recording position is the specific position(S260,S270).
