PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food service cart with a defrosting function, by which sensors for detecting the freezing state of an evaporator can be easily maintained. SOLUTION: The food service cart with the defrosting function is formed by providing a refrigeration chamber 1, a compressor 2 for compressing a refrigerant, a condenser 3 for condensing and liquefying the compressed refrigerant, the evaporator 4 for cooling surrounding air by evaporating the liquefied refrigerant and a blower 5 for sending cooled air to the refrigeration chamber 1 in a vehicle body 6 and covering the evaporator 4 and the blower 5 with a case body 7 formed of a heat insulating material. A current sensor 8 for detecting the change of a current flowing to the blower 5 is provided on the outside of the case body 7.
