PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating motor high in fixing rigidity between a rotating shaft and an eccentric weight, and easy in manufacturing, and a manufacturing method of the vibrating motor. SOLUTION: The vibrating motor 1 generates vibration by rotating the eccentric weight 5 fixed to the rotating shaft 3 of the motor together with the rotating shaft 3. A recess 7 is formed on the side face of the rotating shaft 3; a rotating shaft insertion groove 13 and caulked walls 15a, 15b formed at both sides of the insertion groove 13 are formed at the eccentric weight 5; and a part of the caulked walls 15a, 15b that are elastically deformed is made to engage in the recess 7 at the side face of the rotating shaft, by arranging the rotating shaft 3 in the rotating shaft insertion groove 13 of the eccentric weight 5, and by pressing down the caulked walls 15a, 15b by caulking.
