PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface heating member capable of designing size and using effectively and flexibly, and a manufacturing method of a surface heating member. SOLUTION: The surface heating member containing fabric having conductive strings and nonconducting strings has at least a part of the strings designed as conductive strings 2, and at least two heating bands 4 (21, 22, 23) with each of extended conductive string groups jointed in a separated state, respectively, conductive strings 2 of each group electrically connected through a flat connection means 7 at a starting part 5 and an ending part 6, and the heating bands 4 electrically wired through the flat connection means 7.
