PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality monitoring system using optical fibers, surely reducing fraud to a circuit storage box for storing an electric circuit, or the center of Pachinko and Pachinko-slot machines, and damage of parlor managers, improving the confidence to a game machine business world, and improving its soundness. SOLUTION: This abnormality monitoring system using the optical fibers is so formed that a monitoring optical fiber 50 winding around the circuit storage box 5 is fixed with a fixing bracket 20 in a fixing box 10, optically connected to a transmission optical fiber 41 and a receiving optical fiber 42 from a control device 6 having a control circuit 60 in a detection box 1, which is constituted of the fixing box 10, an upper lid 30 and a communication optical fiber support body 40, to detect the abnormality; and the control device 6 is connected to a parlor computer 100 through a terminal end device 80 to detect the presence/absence of fraudulent opening of the circuit storage box 5.
