ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus with an indication device which makes it possible to intuitively perform three-dimensional control of view point setting, cut plane setting and cross section setting within a three-dimensional space, etc.

SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises: a transmission/reception means for driving an ultrasonic probe and scanning the inside of a subject by ultrasonic waves; an ultrasonic image generation means for generating image data indicating the form of an object internal organ inside the subject on the basis of reception signals obtained by scanning by the transmission/reception means; a display means for displaying images generated by the ultrasonic image generation means; an operation device in such a shape that it can be carried by an operator for remotely controlling the transmission/reception means, the ultrasonic image generation means and the display means; a position information detection means for detecting the position information of the scanning device; and a three-dimensional control means for performing the three-dimensional control for the display of the images on the basis of the position information detected by the position information detection device.
