<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menu item selection method capable of selecting a menu item simply, without allocating the menu item for each key of a remote controller. <P>SOLUTION: An image menu display device comprises a memory 5 for storing menus; a transmitter 3, having four selection keys arranged in a cross shape for outputting an instruction signal for instructing menus stored in the memory 5 to be displayed along each side of a screen of a television receiver, and for outputting an execution signal for image adjustment or sound adjustment in accordance with the manu; a receiver 4 for receiving instruction signals and the execution signals; and a menu item extractor 6 for selecting any one menu item from among the menus, displayed along each side of the screen of the television receiver, according to the instruction signal received by the receiver 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
