<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CO modification catalyst as a catalyst used for a PEFC (solid polymer type fuel cell), a fuel reforming device equipped with the CO modification catalyst having high CO modification performance by enhancing DSS durability (daily start up and shut down) and a CO removing catalyst having high CO removing performance while having DSS durability, a fuel cell system, and a method for reforming raw fuel having DSS durability. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel reforming device 10 composed of a reforming catalyst device 13 to reform a hydrocarbon based raw fuel 11 for a fuel cell to a reforming gas 12, a CO modifying device 15 to modify CO generated in reforming by the CO modifying catalyst 14, and a CO removing device 18 to convert remaining CO to a fuel gas 17 by removing it by a removing catalyst 16, a heat resistant oxide 19 is added to both of the CO modifying catalyst 14 and the CO removing catalyst 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
