<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which hydrogen gas can be supplied stably, without variations with respect to a plurality of generating cells, and moreover, can exhaust residual impure gases accumulated in generation cells, even by a small volume of hydrogen gas of low pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen gas, supplied from an entrance 12 to a supply side main passage 1, merges with an exhaust side main passage 2 through each stage of branch passages 3, where fuel diffusion electrodes 5 of a high passage resistance are arranged. An exit 13, which opens at purging, is connected with an end of the exhaust side main passage 2. The fuel diffusion electrode 5 diffuses and supplies hydrogen gas on a whole of the generating cell. For all of the branch passages 3, when viewed from a joining point with the exhaust side main passage 2, passage resistance from the entrance 12 to the joining point via the branch passage is smaller than the passage resistance, from the entrance 12 to the joining point, via any other arbitral branch passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
