<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of uniformalizing concentration distribution in a flow passage of steam and reaction gas, and temperature distribution in the flow passage of a coolant. <P>SOLUTION: This is the fuel cell FC in which cells 1 constituted by pinching a membrane electrode assembly 10 obtained by arranging a pair of electrodes 12, 13 on both faces of an electrolyte membrane 11 by a pair of separators 14, 15 are laminated in a plurality of numbers, and in which the flow passages 14S, 15S to supply the reaction gas or to discharge a formed gas to the electrodes 12, 13 are installed at a side contacted with the electrodes 12, 13 of the separators 14, 15. Secondary flow generation parts 5a, 5b to generate a whirling current and to make the reaction gas which flows on the electrodes 12, 13 side in the flow passages 14S, 15S flow onto the opposite side of the electrode side in the flow passages 14S, 15S are installed in the flow passages 14S, 15S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
