PRINTING INFORMATION SETTING DEVICE, AND METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficient use of resources of a storage medium for displaying image data.

SOLUTION: A card CD4X for "high-function printing" is displayed in a dialog box DBX for data input, displayed on a display device by a printer driver. The card CD4X is switched to a card of "simple printing" whenever a button BT is clicked. Display of the cards is constituted so that an area EDA for extended data input is displayed only when switching to the card CD4X of "high-function printing" by displaying base image data including are area DA for data input and an area LA for illustration display even when either card is selected. Thus, the base image data representing the area DA for data input and the area LA for illustration display is shared and both cards are displayed.
