PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-branch outputting solid-state imaging device for avoiding deterioration in the image quality due to electric charges left unbranched in signal electric charges. SOLUTION: The two-branch outputting solid-state imaging device is provided with: a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements formed on a semiconductor substrate in a two-dimensional array and each storing signal electric charges depending on a received light quantity; a charge transfer path for transferring the signal electric charges read from the photoelectric conversion elements; two branch transfer paths for receiving the signal electric charges transferred along the charge transfer path and transferring the electric charges to output terminal sides; and a charge branching part located at a connection part between the charge transfer path and the two branch transfer paths, wherein signals (G signals) depending on electric charges left unbranched produced at the charge branching part are arranged in a checker form on a reproduced image (Fig.8(b)). Thus, it is prevented that the G signals are viewed as longitudinal lines as shown in (Fig.8(a)). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
