<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a user to simply change processing performed by an input operation. <P>SOLUTION: The game device 10 is provided with an object mounting portion 16 which detachably holds an object in which information is recorded. The object mounting portion 16 is provided with an information card reader which reads information recorded on the object, and a switch which senses an input operation to the retained object.
