PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop the operation of a pump by sensing the arrival of a load receiving platform at the start point or the finish point of the operating range without using an expensive sensor. SOLUTION: A voltage applied to an electric motor 24 for driving the pump is constantly observed. When the change of the applied voltage to be generated by the arrival at the start point or the finish point of the operating range of the load receiving platform has been detected, the current supply to the electric motor 24 is stopped.
