PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for null adjustment value restoration work when a transmission circuit and an adjustment circuit are exchanged between a control rod driving mechanism and a control rod controller. SOLUTION: A nuclear reactor system comprises the transmission unit 35 for transmitting a drive command 33, a discrete control rod control unit 36 for controlling drive of the discrete control rods 3 on the basis of the drive command 33 transmitted via the transmission unit 35 and a control rod drive unit 8 for driving the discrete control rods 3 according to a drive control signal from the discrete control rod control unit 36 to vertically position the discrete control rods 3. The discrete control rod control unit 36 and the transmission unit 35 are provided with a null adjustment value retaining circuit 41, 41a storing null adjustment values 42, 42a, which are the mechanical lower limit in the vertical movement of the control rod 3 according to a positioning signal 43 from the control rod drive unit 8.
