PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agglutination accelerator for latex agglutination immunoassay, which prevents lowering an immunoreaction speed. SOLUTION: The agglutination accelerator for latex agglutination immunoassay contains: a polyoxyalkylene compound (P1) represented by a chemical formula (1); and/or a polyoxyalkylene compound (P2) represented by a chemical formula (2). In the chemical formulae (1) and (2), R is a 4-16C alkyl group, EO is an oxyethylene group, AO is a 3-4C oxyalkylene group, H is a hydrogen atom, O is an oxygen atom, x, y and z are each independently an integer of 0-12, (x+y+z) is 7-12, a and b are each independently an integer of 5-150, b is an integer of 30-55, and (a+b+c) is 40-355.
