Glazing strips, sealing strips, gaskets in strip form comprise an uncured copolymer of ethylene and propylene. The polymer may be a terpolymer of ethylene and propylene with a, preferably non-conjugated, diene; and may be compounded with subsidiary rubbers, e.g. polyisoprene or polybutadiene block copolymers having terminal non-elastomeric blocks on a central elastomeric block; and with conventional compounding ingredients which may indude vulcanizing agents. Examples describe strips made of ethylene/propylene/diene terpolymers and paraffin wax, carbon black, silica, whiting, wood flour. processing oil, factice and styrene/butadiene block copolymer. |
