<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recording paper with no coating unevenness and with a highly white blank paper part. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording paper provided with an underlayer and an ink receiving layer on a substrate so as to come into contact with each other in this order, is characterized in that by using sensible chromaticity indexes a* and b* by CIELAB of the surfaces of the underlayer and the ink receiving layer, the value of A obtained by the following equation is ≤7.
