<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle interior part having a good appearance, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle interior part 1 is formed in such a manner that a cover member 3 made by bonding a cushioning material 4 to the rear surface of a skin material 5 is bonded onto the surface of an instrument panel base material 2. For the skin material 5, the surfaces of a pair of pieces 51 and 52 are stacked with each other, and after joining the end sections by sewing under an aligned state, the pieces 51 and 52 are opened and spread in the opposite directions from each other, and a hot melt tape 56 is pasted on the stacked section for the reinforcement. After mounting the skin material 5 on the die surface 63a of a reversing die 63, the skin material 5 is sucked to the die surface 63a for each division 63c, 63d or 63e through a ventilation hole 63b which is provided on the die surface 63a for shaping the skin material 5.
