<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage or the like on a receptacle connector side when an excessive load is applied, in a fitting state with the receptacle connector. <P>SOLUTION: This connector comprises cushioning parts 19 and 20 which are located in positions covered with the tip part of a resin cover 21 of a shield case 13 and deform the shield case 13 to an excessive load in a state where the connector is fitted to the receptacle connector 2.
