<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a list generation method and list generation system using a dynamic adjustment of an advertisement area, capable of flexibly determining an area size of a display field within a search result list in view of the number of pieces of advertisement information to be arranged while breaking away from a conventional method of arranging the advertisement information within a predetermined number of pieces for each display field and limiting the number of pieces of advertisement information to be arranged in each display field. <P>SOLUTION: The list generation method using a dynamic adjustment of an advertisement area comprises: a step of maintaining an advertisement information database for storing a plurality of pieces of advertisement information corresponding to a predetermined keyword; a step of receiving a bid price and an input of designation of a display field with respect to each of the advertisement information; a step of extracting the advertisement information corresponding to the keyword from the advertisement information database, and selecting from the extracted advertisement information the advertisement information to be displayed by the designated display field according to a criterion associated with the bid price; a step of determining an area of each display field depending on the number of pieces of the selected advertisement information; and a step of arranging the selected advertisement information in the display field of the determined area, and creating a search result list. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
