PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily position a detecting coil in a through hole formed in a base member to be arranged in an outer circumference of the through hole, and to prevent illegal modification and an influence due to sealing of an electronic component. SOLUTION: A pachinko ball detecting sensor 1 has the base member 51 forming a detecting hole 3 with a metal ball passed therethrough, and detects a change generated in a divided air-core coil 31 by a detecting circuit, when detecting the presence of the metal ball passed through the detecting hole 3 or the presence thereof passed on an upper face of the detecting hole 3. The divided air-core coil 31 is formed to be divided into a plurality along a direction coaxial to the detecting hole 3. The divided air-core coil 31 is electrically connected to the detecting circuit provided on a substrate 41, when arranged to cover an outer circumference of the detecting hole 3, under the condition where the substrate 41 is arranged on the base member 51.
