PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable method for correcting a trapezoidal distortion in image processing for improved medium image alignment. SOLUTION: This invention concerns the method for correcting a trapezoidal distortion of an image during image processing for improved medium image alignment. This invention concerns a method for controlling a printer by executing the method for correcting the trapezoidal distortion of the image in the image processing for the improved medium image alignment based on this invention.
