PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinder of an asphalt chamfering apparatus which allow the outer peripheral surface of a rotating body not to collide with the vertical cut face of asphalt and enables grinding for a long length and improves durability by suppressing the wear of the outer peripheral surface of the rotating body and an increase in temperature. SOLUTION: A cavity 18 is formed in a truncated conical shaped rotating body 10 and the outer peripheral surface thereof is formed into a longitudinal cross recessed curved face 13. A plurality of cutting bits 11 are protrudingly formed at intervals on the outer peripheral surface. The top ends 11 of respective cutting bits 11 are straightly arranged along a taper 17 from the large diameter side to the small diameter side of the outer periphery of the rotating body.
