PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray curable adhesive having good transparency and excellent adhesiveness, heat-resistance, moisture-resistance and thermal shock resistance and to provide an adhesive for bonding optical parts, adhesive for bonding optical disk, adhesive for mounting on printed circuit board, sealing agent for flat panel display, adhesive for automobile structure, adhesive for medical use, fiber bundling agent and carbon fiber adhesive produced by using the active energy ray curable adhesive. SOLUTION: The active energy ray curable adhesive is a resin composition composed of (A) an alicyclic epoxy resin having a cycloaliphatic skeleton and one or more epoxy groups in the molecule, (B) a polyol having a number-average molecular weight of≥400 and (C) an active energy ray sensitive catalyst.
