PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and composition for preventing and treating age-related macular degeneration and related diseases. SOLUTION: A unilamellar vesicle constituted of phospholipid for preventing and treating age-related macular degeneration and related diseases. These composition and method include a new approach to the treatment of the age-related macular degeneration and related diseases.
