PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation device for a detection device for an elevator, in which a detection device for detecting an elevation position of a car can be easily and correctly installed on an elevation member of a shaft and a shaft fixture member in installation of the elevator. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a fixing part 23 positioned by the shaft fixture member 6, a fixing means 24 to detachably fix the fixing part 23 to the shaft fixture member, and a gauge 33a provided on the fixing part, comprising an installation reference 12a for a cam 12, and an installation reference for a position switch on an installation reference surface 26a projected on one side of the shaft fixture member. The cam is installed on the car based on the installation reference for the cam provided on the gauge, and the position switch is installed on the shaft fixture member based on the installation reference for the position switch provided on the gauge.
