A circuit has a power semiconductor (4), e.g. a MOSFET, including heat dissipating contact surfaces mounted on a circuit mounting plate (1) in a surface mounted technology (SMT). The power semiconductor is mounted on a metallic intermediate plate (5) in the SMT, where the intermediate plate is retained by the mounting plate. The intermediate plate is soldered with the mounting plate. The mounting plate directly discharges heat dissipation into the intermediate plate. The mounting plate is made of synthetic resin.
